Two sections of roads and a high-voltage line will be built in the city of Beringovsky by "Beringugolinvest" together with the Government of Chukotka.
The Government of the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug and Beringugolinvest LLC (the subsidiary of Tigers Realm Coal Limited, TIG, Australia) have agreed on their intentions to implement the investment project in the region. The document was signed by the Governor Roman Kopin and the General Director of the company Dmitry Gavrilin during the VI Eastern Economic Forum-2021 in Vladivostok.
- We plan to create enrichment facilities for the processing of coking coal in Chukotka. This is the most important stage in the development of our company, allowing us to move to the production of premium products and realize the full potential of Beringovsky coals, - said Dmitry Gavrilin.
The government of the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug, for its part, plans to reconstruct two sections of the highway, with a total length of 10.5 km, which will connect the city of Beringovsky with the seaport and the airport. In addition, the investment project will be supported by the development of energy infrastructure in Beringovsky - it is planned to repair the 6 kV “Feeder-12 Airport” overhead line with a length of 11.7 km and the construction of an overhead power line in the sections of Beringovsky, Seaport, Airport, which will unite them into a single power grid.
- The work of the company "Beringugolinvest" is an example of when the infrastructure is created for an investment project and positively affects the quality of life of the village. Also now, to increase the efficiency of our production at the “Project F”, Tigers Realm Coal is finishing the completion of a modular coal enrichment plant. It is important for us that it meets the most modern environmental standards – without the use of wet waste. In addition to the factory, we will work together on the road and the overhead road – a profitable cooperation for both parties, - said Roman Kopin.
Recall that at the EEF-2021 was held on September 2-4 at the site of the Far Eastern Federal University in Vladivostok. The government of the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug signed 14 cooperation agreements for 25 billion rubles at this forum.
