The Australian company shipped half a million tons of coal to the Asian-Pacific export markets and to Chukotka domestic market. Currently, the loading of two other bulkers ARILLAH-1 and FULHAM continues. They deliver coal for the clients in China and Japan.
The company plans to extract up to 750,000 tons of coal and ship up to 650-700, 000 tons for 2019. To fulfill the goals, TIG purchased additional quarry equipment and four five-hundred-ton barges. The Company’s plans for the reconstruction of the Beringovsky port is underway.
Since the beginning of navigation, ten foreign cargo ships have been loaded by the services of “Port Ugolny” and “Anadyrmorport”. In addition, TIG filled four ships with thermal coal for the domestic market of Chukotka. As part of the Cooperation agreement, signed at the Eastern Economic Forum-2019 in Vladivostok by the Governor of Chukotka Roman Kopin and the TIG Chief Executive Officer of Tigers Dmitry Gavrilin, the company intends to continue supplying coal to the domestic market, thus replacing the expensive imported coal.
