The members of the TIG Board of Directors arrived in Chukotka on the 22nd of July to evaluate the results of the investments and to meet with the regional authorities.
The Chair of the Board of Directors Craig Wiggill, the members Bruce Grey and Tav Morgan, as well as the Chief Executive Officer Dmitry Gavrilin, represented the company. The Governor Roman Kopin, the First Deputy Mikhail Sobolev and the Head of Industry division of the Department of Industry Andrey Bykov represented the Chukotka side.
At the meeting, they discussed the results of two subsidiary companies – Beringpromugol LLC and Port ugolny LLC in production and loading of thermal and coking coal – both are the residents of the Advanced Special Economic Zone. Craig Wiggill thanked Governor Kopin for the regional support of the ASEZ “Chukotka” residents.
On July 23rd the members of the Board of Directors flew to the Beringovsky Township and took a ride on the brand new 500-tonne barge “Keliney” to the bulker DENSA LION. During the day guests observed the new truck, dozer and excavator at work on Project F, North Amaam. Everybody visited the camp at the Keliney Mountain. Both sides gave a positive evaluation of the project implementation in total.
On the 30th of July, Port ugolny LLC, the resident of the ASEZ “Chukotka” exported 245 tonnes of coal.
