Tigers Realm Coal Limited will sign on September 5th the trilateral Cooperation Agreement with the Government of the Chukotka autonomous okrug and the Far East Investment and Export Agency at the site of the V Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok.
The main areas of cooperation, listed in the Agreement, are focused on improving the infrastructure for the investor, contributing into the indigenous peoples' sustainable development, and also cooperation in creating a specially protected nature area.
Thus, the Agreement includes measures for the reconstruction and development of the Beringovsky Airport. Measures also will be taken to maintain the road from the Beringovsky seaport to the open-pit mine.
In its turn, the Government plans to help with the modernization of the existing fuel base and to increase its capacity. Parties will contribute to the creation of generating capacities on the territory of the Beringovsky coal basin. A separate paragraph marks the connection to the broadband Internet of the projected fibre-optic line to Chukotka.

TIG intends to continue supplying coal to the local market of Chukotka, and will support measures on creating the specially protected nature area of regional significance known as the "Natural Park "Spoon-billed Sandpiper Land". Separate events will be taken to support the indigenous peoples of the North.
“An Australian investor is implementing a project in the Territory of Advanced Development "Chukotka" for coal mining in the Amaam coal basin with the capacities of a subsidiary of Beringpromugol LLC. Last year, 576 k/t of coal were produced and 393 k/t were exported. Plans for the current year - to produce up to 750 k/t and sell up to 650-720 k/t. The investor intends to become a significant supplier of high-quality coking coal to the marine export market through the development of its assets located near the coast of the Bering Sea in the Far East, in the Chukotka autonomous okrug.
