Tigers Realm Coal organized the trip for the government and public organizations representatives to Beringovsky

Australian TIG organized the trip to Beringkovsky township of Chukotka representatives to introduce them to some achievements of its affiliate companies “Beringpromugol” and “Port Ugolny” in coal production and export. Other objectives were to demonstrate the implementing conditions of residency in ASEZ “Chukotka” and realization of environment protection policy. 

The head of the Department of Industry Mikhail Sobolev, the head of the Division of industry and energetic complex Valery Kozlov, the deputy head of Committee on natural resources and ecology Aleksey Yakovlev and the specialist Grigory Dyachkov presented the Government of Chukotka. Viktor Tyukhtiy, the director of “Anadyrmorport” was along with Alyona Vaarik and Aleksandra Tevlyav’ye, who represented two public organizations – Russian national front (Rossiysky narodny front) and Association of Chukotka indigenous peoples.

Viktor Tyukhty, the main subcontractor of “Port Ugolny”, reported about the successful partnership with TIG – the increase of its production volumes also increases the turnover of his enterprise. Then everybody flew to the project “F” and watched the coal production and brand new machines

TIG managers informed public organization representatives, who, in their turn, expressed some concerns of locals regarding the impact of coal and road dust on the environment, on already implemented and planned measures on nature protection. The constriction of the garbage incinerator and implementing of storm water runoff (with federals) are among them.

Tevlyav'ye, Yefanov and Vakarik are talking about sustainable development

Aleksandra Tevlyav'ye, the vice-President of the Association of the small-numbered indigenous peoples of Chukotka thanked TIG's management for the trip and expressed her hope for further collaboration between the miners and the locals.
