Sergey Efanov, Executive Director of Beringpromugol summarized the annual results on compliance with labor protection and industrial safety requirements on April 28 – World Labor Protection Day.
The head of the Department of Labor Protection, Industrial Safety and Ecology Olesya Konina initiated to resume previous year in two nominations and considered such parameters as the number of days without violations, the nature of violations, the number and nature of incidents.
According to the results of labor competition, the winner in the nomination “The best shift” became the Shift №1, and Nikolai Rodin won in the nomination “The best worker on the territory of the seaport”. The winners were awarded with diplomas, sweet gifts and money bonuses.
This labor and safety competition was held for the first time in Beringovsky among employees of Beringpromugol, but there are plans for its annual celebration.
International Labor Organization established the World Labor Protection Day in order to prevent accidents and diseases at workplaces worldwide. The theme of World Labor Protection Day in 2019 is “Labor protection and the future of labor”.
