Galina Vlasova and Olesya Konina, employees of the Environment Protection Department of "Beringpromugol," organized the meeting of the coal company representatives with students from grades 7-11. The event took place in the Education Center of the Beringovsky settlement under the motto “Looking into the future: professional self-determination."
40 students came to this meeting with the specialists and learned first-hand about the features, advantages and disadvantages of such professions as labor protection specialist, medical worker, ecologist, line mechanic, truck driver, economist, geologist and surveyor.
Employees of the company showed the presentation to the students and told them about the types of professional activity, the demand for specialists and, of course, the importance of the propper choice of the future profession. Representatives of "Beringpromugol" told about their univiersities, personal experience in the profession. The most illustrative example was a video clip about the everyday life of the geological surveying service.
The meeting was one of the events planned by the Cooperation Program between "Beringpromugol" and the Education Center of the Beringovsky settlement.
