On the Miner's day, TIG’s Chief Executive Officer Dmitry Gavrilin and Executive director of “Beringpromugol” Sergey Efanov congratulated employees of the open-pit coal mine, technological complex, automotive service, maintenance office, maintenance supply, and electromechanical service.
For the high-performance results, 16 workers received Certificates of Appreciation. For the majority of them, the Miner's Day became a new professional celebration, which they spent in Chukotka. The meeting was held in Amaam North camp near Project “F” deposit.
The Miner's Days is usually celebrated on the last Sunday of August. It was officially implemented on September 10, 1947, in USSR. The first celebration took place on August 29, 1948.
